Annanites are sick! It is for this reason that I am late in getting the meal plan up. This weeks meal plan is also packed full of great meal ideas for the sick and ailing. The meals are small since most don’t eat much when they’re hungry. It’s imperative that you avoid sugar as much as possible and increase vitamin C, so I have tried to keep that in mind. Also, many of the things I chose to include on this meal plan may not be that appealing to kids. For that reason, most of their sick diet is toast, applesauce, chicken noodle soup, and sweet potatoes/yams. According to Forbes, these are the top 10 best foods to eat while fighting a cold: Garlic, Mushrooms, Tea, Oats, Elderberry, Cabbage, Honey, Whey Protein, Barley, Sweet Potato.
